Awake was an Oculus Quest 2 project done in collaboration with Mila Gajic. This project features a full scale immersive 3D hospital environment designed to confuse and disorient the player. The game features no direct narrative, and instead encourages the player to discover the narrative themselves by exploring sticky notes and writing around the hospital. The player soon discovers that everyone has suddenly disappeared, and that they need to find a way out. Once they find the key to the elevator and board, they soon discover they are trapped in a looping dream with no escape. This project featured many production challenges and allowed us to learn a lot about the Unity & Oculus development platform.
